Popped in this evening to check the place out. Had a good time. Bar staff and management are fun and friendly and the food was great too. Will definitely go back.
We visited this place after we heard about it, and read about it in the Manchester Evening News (the place is owned by the wife of Emile Heskey, former England player). Situated on London Road, it's close to all the other popular and trendy spots in Alderley Edge. My wife and I decided to visit midweek as a spontaneous treat to celebrate her getting a new job.Being on London Road, there's no shortage of competition and we have to say we weren't disappointed. Our host Sophie was very attentive and took the time to explain the options on the menu , we were also very pleased to know that they serve sushi from Zuma who we have visited in the past and have to say offer the best sushi in Cheshire hands down.The decor and ambience is splendid, it would suit casual diners and those that also wish to dress up for the occasion.I went for the chicken Thai holy basil with the nasi goreng rice. The meal was cooked to perfection and service was very quick.The manager James also took time to chat with us and explain that they do have a number of events including live music so this would be something that we are very much looking forward to. They also have a late licence until 2 a.m. for those that are interested in spending a night rather than having to go and make the trek to Manchester city centre.Safe to say that we will definitely be coming back at some point in the near future and they do have halal options for chicken and lamb.Highly recommended and don't be surprised if you spot a Premier League Footballer or two!
